Low Emitting Materials

Low EmittingAll classrooms have been designed and constructed with acceptably low indoor air concentrations of harmful volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) that derive from building products and building materials used indoors. The carpet in the Instrumental Music classroom is one example of the many low-emitting materials selected for CHS. Both the carpet tiles and the adhesive used have “zero” calculated VOCs.
