The Budget Overview for Parents has been a part of the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) in past years, but because there is no LCAP for the 2020-2021 school year, certain parts have been written as stand-alone documents. The overview is one of those documents. The Cleveland’s Budget Overview explains the funding sources and amounts based on the enrollment of our “high needs” students - English Learners, Foster Youth and Low-Income Students.
The COVID Report 2020 provides an overview explaining the changes to program offerings that Cleveland has made in response to the school’s closure to address the COVID-19 emergency and the major impacts of the closure on students and families.
The Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan replaces the LCAP for the 2020–21 school year and is intended to record the planning process for Cleveland’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The plan describes stakeholder engagement, distance learning expectations, state and federal funding, learning loss strategies and plans for in-person instruction.
The Special Education Plan describes how Cleveland will help Students with Disabilities (SWD) improve their performance on various state measures which include California Dashboard and SBAC tests. Cleveland wrote plans for Graduation Rate, ELA and Math Achievement [on state testing], Percentage of Time in General Education Classes, Post-School Outcomes–Higher Education or Competitively Employed, and Post-School Outcomes–Any Education or Employment.
The LCAP Targeted Student Populations (TSP) Plan describes how Cleveland ensures that they fund and operate a program for English Learners, Foster Youth and Low-Income Students in accordance with existing policy and federal agreements.
