Students planning on attending another LAUSD school for summer session must see their counselor in order to be enrolled at the other school.
Students completing this process before June 3, 2019, are scheduled to receive their summer assignment the first week of June in their classes.
Students completing this process after June 3, 2019, should check the room finder on the counseling window to see if they were enrolled in a course. Otherwise, report to the counseling office on June 19th 8AM to see if there is room for enrollment. Students may not receive summer classes due to classes being full from students completing the process before June.
SUMMER INTENSIVE PROGRAM "SIP" 2019:
Each session is 12 days for 5 hours. A student can complete 3 sessions over the entire summer (see attachment below for details). We are also offering a summer in-seat online course that extends into Fall.
This program was created to help our EL students become grade level in accordance to their peers. In addition, we have opened up a few spots for those students who are behind in credits where making up 4 classes would get them to grade level. All students were pre-registered by there counselor. A room finder is placed on the counseling office window. Students and parents/guardian may come the first day June 17 8AM to see if there are any spots available. Courses offered: English, online math, online history, online Spanish.
