SARC: Cleveland's School Accountability Report Card (SARC) is available to view through our website. The SARC in LAUSD is an annual report required by California law that provides parents and the community with detailed information about a school's performance, environment, and resources.

Duck and Cover Drill: We will be conducting a duck and cover drill on February 23 during period 5.
Morning Wellness: We will be offering a 20-minute wellness session in L-109 on Tuesday at 8:00 AM that is open to staff and students. The session will include yoga so please dress accordingly.
Early Dismissal Tuesday: Every Tuesday, period 6 will end at 2:38 PM. Please plan accordingly.
Science Night: Join us Tuesday from 5 PM to 8 PM for Science in Motion Night at The Land. This event is open to K-12 students and families and will be a great opportunity to engage in a variety of STEM activities led by both students and faculty.
Parent Conferencing: We will have our spring parent conference on Wednesday, February 25 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
TIES/Minimum Day: February 25 is also a TIES day. Period 6 ends at 1:13 PM. Please plan accordingly.
Student Day: Our next Saturday Student Day is scheduled for March 7. A flyer will be posted on Schoology next week with rooms and locations.

Super Saturday: Class of 2026 seniors and families – if you still need assistance in completing FAFSA or CADAA, please join our College Counselors for one-on-one support from 9 AM to 1 PM on February 21. Walk-ins are welcome.

CGC Meeting: There will be a Cleveland Governance Council meeting on Tuesday at 3:45 PM in the Principal’s Conference Room.
Tuesday and Wednesday iReady Testing: The MOY will be administered on Tuesday (through period 3) and Wednesday (through period 4). Students should remember to bring a fully-charged Chromebook.
Shortened Day Schedule: We will be on a shortened day schedule this Wednesday with a 2:33 PM dismissal for students.
January 11
Happy 2026. We hope winter break was a relaxing break for our Cavaliers and we look forward to seeing you in school this Monday for the start of the spring semester.
Student Schedules: Student class schedules are posted on Schoology. Students should check on the school website or on Schoology for their most recent spring semester schedule. Students with a zero period are expected to attend their classes on January 12. All other students should be on campus this Monday by 8:30 AM for the start of period 1. We will be on a regular day schedule. Students who still need to change classes may pick up a Request to See Counselor form from the Counseling Office. The last day to request a schedule change is January 30. Permanent program day is February 6. After the 30th, students may not drop a class without earning an F in that course.
Phone-Free School Day: As a reminder, we have a phone-free school day policy in effect. Remember, students must have their cellular devices stored in Cleveland-issued Yondr pouches during the school day, including nutrition and lunch.
iReady Digital Readiness Test: All students should bring their Chromebooks on Tuesday for the brief digital readiness test that will take place during period 2.
