August 20th:

Good afternoon, Cleveland families,

This is Principal Duong with an important message. We recently received information about a confirmed COVID case at our school. We were notified of the situation and immediately began taking the required action: isolating the positive case, identifying all close contacts and disinfecting related areas. Families of close contacts have been notified and provided information about isolation, quarantine, testing and next steps. Again, all close contacts where the potential exposure occurred have been advised to stay home and quarantine as per the Los Angeles County Department of Health and the Los Angeles Unified Office of COVID Response protocols. Due to privacy and confidentiality laws, Los Angeles Unified will not disclose the names of positive cases except as authorized by law.

The safety and wellbeing of everyone in our school community remains our top priority. We know you entrust your children to us every day and we take this responsibility very seriously.  Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
