This is a beginning level study of the French language and culture meant for those who have no proficiency in it. We also learn the connections of the French language and culture to those of our own and those from around the world where French is spoken. Topics to be discussed include food, Paris, Quebec, French-speaking Africa, geography, clothing, basic vocabulary, and basic sentence structures such as adjectives, adverbs, present and past tense verbs, and information gathering.
