CC Geometry A (P1, P2 & P6) Assignments

Ch 8 Test is Wednesday.  Assignments are due (8.4, reviews, practice test).  Drop #13 from Chapter test in text assignment.  Can be done, but not as clear as could be and can't check answer (really a guess and check problem).

Finish practice test (worksheet) for Ch 8 from class.  Complete Ch 8 chapter review in book (pp. #454-456).  Make sure to have book in class tomorrow.  Will review test in class, and you will have some time to work on assignments and ask questions.  See recent posts for assignment lists.

Assignments for sections 7.1 to 7.3, angles of polygons and parallelograms.  Timeline dates may be adjusted due to actual pace of class. All assignments to be turned in stapled together with assignment sheet.  Work in pencil, solution checks and corrections should be done in colored pen.  Writing the answer is not a correction, identify what happened and fixed it.  No corrections = no full credit.  Ask for help in self evaluations if needed.

Quiz on Sections 7.2 & 7.3 on Friday.

Journals are due, sections 6.1 to 6.6.  See attached sheet for details.  Be sure to proper section, Tracking and check in form also contains other assignments.

1st assignment from new sector.  Set of assignments to follow.  This is where you should be to be on pace.  p. 299, #1-8

Sorry friends, internet problems stopped me from posting these over the weekend.  Assignment/Journal/Worksheet info:  Please note that these have both the late and current assignments.  There are also differences between some of the periods, including the text assignments and worksheets

Test on Tuesday, Chapter 5.  Mostly 5.3 to 5.7, with a little from 5.1 (corresponding parts of congruent triangles and congruence statements for triangles).  No questions on 5.2, but you do need to know the sum of the angles of a triangle is 180 degrees.  Practice test answer key below.

Pop quiz on proving triangles congruent.  That is, it is a pop quiz if you don't read these announcements.  SSS, SSS, SAS, ASA, AAS, HL.  Ch 5 stuff.  Don't have book with me to give exact sections, but that mid part of the chapter we have been looking at.

5.6 Text book for homework: pp. 274+, #1, 2, 3-21 odd, 28, 30, 34-38.  In class on Tuesday we will be doing 5.7 notes, finishing up some 5.6 and doing worksheets for 5.6 and 5.7

Text book assignments for sections 5.3 to 5.5 are due.

All journal work for sections 5.3 to 5.6 is due

Quiz over sections 5.3 (SAS triangle congruence) and 5.4 (Isosceles Triangles).

FYI - You should be completed with all 5.3 and 5.4 activities at this point.  This is to be ready for the quiz.  They will be collected on Friday.
