Hello, and welcome to your online assignment list!In addition to posting homework assignments on this web page, I will also be posting upcoming quizzes, tests, and projects. These will be posted in your homework list even though they are not homework assignments. So how do you know what your homework assignment is? Simple: listed assignments that begin with "hw" are homework assignments. Most of the handouts that I give out in class will also be available in this assignment list as attachments.Don't forget: homework is always due on FRIDAYS, unless I tell you otherwise. And a homework assignment is due EVERY FRIDAY, unless you have an exam or project due that week. Homework turned in ONE DAY LATE will only receive 1/2 credit; homework turned in more than one day late will receive no credit. One more thing: quizzes are every FRIDAY. If you miss a quiz, remember to make it up the following Friday at lunch in my room. Quizzes more than one week old cannot be made up.Did you miss class? If it's an excused absence, you have ONE WEEK from the date of your return from your absence to turn in makeup work. However, if you were in class the day that the homework or project was assigned, the assignment is due the SAME DAY you return from your absence.Need to contact me? You may email me at [email protected].Would you like a sneak peak at what you'll be learning this year? Below you will find a link to the California Department of Education's website. You can download the education standards and frameworks from there; I have also provided the standards and frameworks that pertain to this class below as attachments available for download. Here are the pages of the standards and frameworks that are relevant to BIOLOGY:Standards: pp. 42-47 (pp. 51-56 of PDF file)Framework: pp. 220-250 (pp. 228-258 of PDF file)Here is your course syllabus, which lays out the policies and requirements for this class:
