Solar Ready

As sunny Los Angeles provides an excellent environment for harnessing energy through solar panels, Cleveland Cavaliers are Solar Ready. The buildings have been designed and constructed for the future installation of a rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system. Solar panels installed on the Performing Arts Building are designed to generate approximately 116 kilowatts. Buildings H, J, and K have space for solar panels on the roof and related electrical equipment in the building with connecting conduit installed between them.

LAUSD is committed to increasing our non-carbon based energy capacity through renewable energy sources. Current renewable energy systems on our campuses include solar and geothermal.
