Sustainable Cavaliers strive to minimize water shortages and drought conditions. Campus irrigation systems have smart weather-based controllers with rain sensors.

All new landscaped areas have an automatic irrigation system which complies with LAUSD Standards and the Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance AB 1881.

An Irrigation Watering and System Maintenance Schedule has been implemented to effectively conserve water while supporting healthy plant growth.
