            The 1980s was a decade that brought all the best art to the modern world. With the new age of technology, art had a new horizon to look toward. Steven Spielberg brought the world entertainment with his famous movies. Michael Jackson was at the peak of his game when he released his music videos in the 80s. All the art in the 1980s gave the 80's the great era its cultural feel.

            The advancing computers of the 1980's helped Spielberg to create movies with some of the best graphics in that century. Video game systems are recently being developed and sold in the 80's, and the first video games were an art in them self's. Every one believed that in the 1980s art was the full means to express ones self.

            Steven Spielberg was born on December 18 th 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio. His most famous movie was E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, which had made over 2 billion dollars. He earned two Oscars for the movie The Color Purple. With the help of new technology he has created movies with better graphics and special effects than the famous Star Wars. He has directed numerous top-grossing movies, and every one has been a spectacular experience for all viewers. He continues to this day to impact the world of film and acting with his innovative ideas.

            Michael Jackson was born in Gary Indiana on August 29 th 1958. In the 80's he released the music videos "Thriller", "Beat It" and "Billie Jean", greatly improving his already famous status. The creation of MTV (Music Television) allowed people to watch all the music videos they wanted including Michael Jackson's best hits. The videos that Michael Jackson produced were a smash hit and revolutionized MTV, and the way Americans watch music videos. Michael Jackson was the beat of the 80's.

            All the best music and entertainment brought together at one time made the 80's the pinnacle for the art universe. New technology increased how people could create art and be able to make it them-self's. The 80s was a flag-stone for art and entertainment allowing for even better art for the future
