flash banner: to show the person visiting the website what your website is. The flash part is to make it animated and make it flashy. Go into flash. Make the banner and other aspects of the banner in which you want things to move, like the text or pictures. Save it as a flash file. Publish it from flash. Then you insert it as a media into the page in dreamweaver.
internal links: to have different pages that you have created (like from dreamweaver) linked into your website Go to properties and find the link section. Click the little blue folder and find the file or page you want to link it to and it will be linked under the link section.
picture: to give a visual representation of your page Insert the picture you want to put into the page.
blog: to provide updates and information about anything new on the website Make an editable region by inserting it into the place you want to put the information and type that into that area.
text: to provide information.

Do the same thing as you would with the internal links, except this time it's the html off a webpage from the internet instead of from your root folder.

For ours we had to download a file so download the file onto the computer and put that into your root folder. Then, link it to the thing you want it linked to.

email directory: it is a link used as a way to email someone directly Highlight the text or pick the region that you want to link. Go to properties and under the link section, write "mailto:" and the email address.
