ELEMENT PROCESS
Layout - To let people know what your website is about. A picture of music notes was found in google, I saved the picture on the computer and opened the file in photoshop to edit it the way I want it to look, and I saved the file in my folder (bashirk). The words Talented Music Producer - DJ- & Father were created in flash by adding keyframes to the words and putting in a timeline effect.
ENTER (rollover) - To indicate the word is clickable. In dreamweaver, on my layout page I typed the word ENTER and made it a rollover by hyperlinking it to my next page which is my homepage and uploaded it.
Edited words in flash- To add character to the page. I edited the words in flash by opening up my Index page in flash. I highlighted and added keyframes to the words. Then I went to insert-automate- effects and added certain effects to the words.

Banner - To give the visiter a little insite on what the page is about.

I found the picture of turntables on google and I saved it to my folder. I then opened the file in photoshop and resized it to be fit as a banner (800x200). I saved it and opened up my homepage file in dreamweaver and inserted a table and added my banner. I then opened my banner in flash. went to modify- Align. I added a new layer and typed the word music in various colors. Then I went to control- loop playback.When you press enter it will show the turntables then switch to the word music and go back and forth. Saved it, and opened dreamweaver deleted the older banner and uploaded the new banner that was created in flash.
Home - Info - Links - Pics (Rollovers) I made a before and after of each word in photoshop, saved it and in dreamweaver I went to add a rollover image and put in what it would look like when the curser is not on it and what it would look like when the curser is on the word.
Blog- You can put your thoughts, poems,what your page is about, whatever you want in a blog. Under my menu bar I entered a blog in dreamweaver and talked about what my site was about and how this was my first time creating a site.

INFO page- Gives background information on who the site is about. I opened up dreamweaver and created a new page called the Info page, I talked about where my dad was from and his brother and sister. I also gave a little backgound information on how he got started in the music industry. I saved the page and I linked it to the Info rollover.

LINKS page- gives links to other sites, and contacting information.  
Email Directory- email address- myspace address Opened dreamweaver and went to my Links page. I typed email address and and hyperlinked it by highlighting the specific words and going to insert and hyperlinking it by putting in the email address.The myspace address was not linked.
Chat Room- A site where you can talk to other people from different places. I found the chatroom on Bravenet.com I was able to copy the code and paste the code in dreamweaver on my Links page simply by adding a table that had one row and one column and pasted the code in it.

PICS page- pictures are shared on the site. I created a new page and named it my Pics page and linked it to my Pics rollover
Web Gallery I found pictures of my uncles group and album covers and I saved it to my picture folder. I pened photoshop and there i created the gallery, by clicking on automate- web photo gallery. and the gallery is created, then save. open up Dreamweaver- pics page. created a hyperlink and link the Web gallery to the word Pictures. save and upload by going to window- Files- and selecting what page you want to upload and click on the blue arrow.
