NINTH
GRADE
Students rotate amongst four subjects
throughout the year. In addition to projects
focused on each discipline, students create a culminating project
in which they incorporate the techniques learned in all four classes.
Furthermore, health and life skills classes are technology based,
preparing students for a successful post-secondary experience.

ELEVENTH
GRADE
Students are able to choose two of four different art classes offered,
rotating between the two that are teamed up with an English teacher.
This assures that a student's language requirement for all post
secondary experiences is met.

Pairs of art teachers team with a World
History teacher allowing students to rotate between these three classes.
The curriculum of the art classes is a combination of World History,
Art History and artistic techniques, ensuring students meet the high
school
and CSU requirements.

TWELFTH
GRADE
Students focus on their area of concentration
and are required to participate in one or
two of the Advanced Placement Art courses that CHS offers. They
are also encouraged to take advantage of other AP courses as well
as advanced Art classes offered by the Arts Academy.
