UPDATED September 13, 2021: The LAUSD deadline to submit grade change requests is now October 1, 2021.
Assembly Bill (AB) 104 requires school districts to implement policies that give students opportunities to counteract the impact of the pandemic on students' academic achievement and graduation credits. The new law, which went into effect on July 1, 2021, includes options that include requesting retention for eligible students, changing low grades to a Pass or No Pass, and waiving local district graduation requirements that exceed the state credit and course minimums for students who were juniors or seniors in the 2020-21 school year.

NOTE: The deadline to request a grade change for any course taken in the 2020-2021 school year from a letter grade (A,B,C,D,F) to Pass/No Pass is August 31, 2021. Forms must be dropped off in the Main Office for Ms. Duong or emailed to her at email@example.com with the subject line: AB104 Grade Change.
