Class Objective:

To provide the opportunity to develop skills in photography, including technical, critical thinking, and aesthetic judgment. Artistic experimentation is encouraged, as is the ability to integrate other artistic methods and academic subjects (English, history, math, science, etc.) into each project. Your grade will be based on your photographic technique, creativity, and craftsmanship. This class will expand your ability to identify, select, research, and complete photographic concepts using traditional and alternative means. This semester we will concentrate heavily on alternative photographic methods. In the middle of the semester we be integrating digital photography and imaging and will conclude the semester with a cla
ss exhibition and digital portfolios.
