The ten-week Drawing section of the 9th Grade AOAT rotation
features the foundation skills of observational drawing and use of basic media: pencil, charcoal, ink. Students develop technique
through projects based on the theme of "Self" that incorporate
the visual and health standards. Emphasis is on composition
design based on the elements and principles of art.

All 9th grade rotation courses include emphasis on Success Skills, that are taught and reinforced throughout all AOAT classes.
